MEEEELLLLEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!! BRRRRAAAAAAAWWWWWWLLLLLL!!!! It came out on March 9th, as Sakurai said it would, and it is outstanding. no, not just outstanding. "Better than Soul Calibur (DC)" Outstanding. A tall order, I know, but it manages to pull it off flawlesssly. Well, almost.
You see, the online capabilities of Brawl are lacking. Sure you can play with people who will kick your ass from across the EEEEEENTTTTTIIIIIIIIREEEE WOOOOORRRRRLLLLD, but the fact that lag can affect your gameplay does hamper the experience. Also, it seems that it randomly disconnects you from the service. LAME. Finally, in a world where even the smallest of games has a matchmaking service, Brawl's matchmaking service is non-existent.
I know, I shouldn't be complaining. Brawl is a wonderful game, with a wonderful soundtrack, a simple-to-play Single Player mode, and a huge fanbase to boot. But see, I've been looking forward to Brawl online, and this right now just won't cut it. Nintendo, you're making your first steps, and I commend you on that. But please, in Mario Kart Wii, include better online.
So there's my two cents. Now I want to hear yours.
