These are the Original Character cards for Liberation. Do not get the following confused with the ones for NOCs. (Non-Original Characters.
Your character is referred to as male because this is typically how it goes in oldschool RPGs.
Name
Age
Gender
Appearance
You already know these by now. For appearance, either a picture or a description will do.
Alignment
Good, Evil, Neutral. What's yours? If you don't have one of these, I'm assuming your character belongs to neutral.
Starting Weapon
Whatever weapon he has at the start. It must be a melee weapon (such as a sword, mace, nunchaku) and you can only have one to start with.
Starting Gear
Whatever inventory items he has on him at the start, be it healers, Drive Point increasers, power-ups, what have you. The limit is three to start.
Starting Drivers
Drivers can be compared to Final Fantasy VII's Materia. Basically, you need these for Special Attacks (known as Drive SP, such as Z-Combo Drive). Special Weapons (called Drive WP, like Shotgun-Ice Drive), and to basically upgrade your character. (That's Drive Up, as in SaberExtend+1 Drive) Limit two to start, and although you can get more along the way in pre-determined events, they can't be overpowered, like a LVL.4 Charge +15 Drive.
Stats
Your typically standard bread-and-butter RPG-style statistics table. You get twenty-five Stat Points to divide into the following attributes:
SSA (Static Strength Attribute. Basically, your character's static attack value when he doesn't have a weapon.)
CDA (Constitution/Defense Attribute, also known as Defensive abilities. How much damage your character can resist)
WSA (Weapon Skill Attribute. How good your character is with his weapon. Add this to the SSA to get your Variable Attack Value)
DSA (Driver Skill Attribute. How good is with Drivers?)
RSA (Resource Skill Attribute. How resourceful is he? The higher the number, the better chance of him finding a weapon of pretty much anything.)
Vital Stats
This is the vital statistics. Liken it to HP and MP/SP/AP. You get twenty points to divide amongst these attributes:
VIT (Vitality. How much damage can he sustain before he is KO'd?)
DPS (Drive Points. Liken it to MP)
LFE (LifeForce. How many times can your character e KO'd before he gets killed? Take the stats of this, divide it by two, and you get your Variable Life Force. If it's odd, simply round up.)
Theme, Voice Actor, Quote, Other Info
These are completely optional. You don't need to have these, but they're there.
